About Michelle
Michelle Doyle Goldsmith is located in Wexford, the sunny south east of Ireland and specialises in custom made fine jewellery.
Known for one of a kind bespoke pieces, usage of unusual coloured gemstones and high quality diamonds, my passion is creating unique and wearable pieces to be adored and eventually passed on for generations.
Background
Michelle always loved art and design, after doing some work experience in her uncles goldsmithing workshop she fell in love with hand fabricating form and shape from gold and completely enthralled with coloured gemstones in particular.
She trained with The Craft Council Of Ireland in the Jewellery Design and Goldsmithing course where she learned and honed the traditional skills required to handmake jewellery, she also apprenticed with well respected goldsmiths along with experience in the retail and manufacturing side of the industry before eventually setting up her own workshop and studio.
Inspiration:
Michelle soaks up inspiration from all around her, from sunlight reflections to shadows, architecture to nature, people…many diverse subjects “ I try to encourage myself to be inspired every day, it keeps your mind creating, even in my dreams”.
